The Rock Port Junior High cross country teams competed in the Falls City, Nebraska, Invite Thursday, September 24, 2026. The Rock Port junior high and high school cross country teams competed in the Falls City Invitational Thursday, September 24.
The junior high girls placed second as a team. Individual results are: Ingrid Heintz, 2nd (medal), 8:42; Elaina Kroeger, 4th (medal), 9:10; Blaykleigh Daugherty, 11th, 10:33; and Portia Ingram, 16th, 11:50
The junior high boys’ team also placed second. Individual results are: Kipton Waigand, 3rd (medal), 7:42; Locke Chaney, 4th (medal), 7:54; Frank Kroeger, 10th (medal), 8:17; Wyatt Wray, 16th, 9:15; and Lane Seeley, 18th, 9:39
The high school girls’ team placed third. Individual results are: Adelheid Heintz, 19th, 26:44; Evelyn Heintz, 20th, 26:46; and Eliza Mason, 23rd, 27:25
Wyatt Huntley placed 24th with a time of 21:26. He was the only high school Blue Jay runner to compete.
