Teresa has operated C.A.R.E., which provides assistance to domestic violence victims, for 25 years. C.A.R.E. of Atchison County celebrated 25 years of providing services to domestic violence victims with an open house Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at the C.A.R.E. House in Rock Port, Missouri. Attendees were able to take tours of the facility, dine on delicious food provided by Crystal and Payton Woodring (pictured at top with Shirley Cook), and say a fond farewell to C.A.R.E.’s Teresa Morehouse, who is retiring.
