The East Atchison Wolves traveled to Stewartsville, Missouri, Friday, October 16, to play the Osborn-Stewartsville WildCards for the eighth game of the regular season.

The first half got off to a rocky start for the Wolves as they struggled to establish an offensive game. With several dropped passes and three fumbles the Wolves never gave themselves a chance, but WildCards were able to take advantage of the good field position putting up 32 points in the first half. The Wolves were only able to find the endzone once on a Brody Wennihan quarterback keeper.

The second half was a different story, however, as quarterbacks Brody Wennihan and Josh Schlueter managed to find a spark, scoring 14 unanswered points with passes to Braxton Davis-Schoonover and Josh Schlueter. Defensively, the story was much the same as the Wolves struggled to slow the WildCards down in the first half, but shutting them out the second half. The Wolves had plenty of chances, but just weren’t able to capitalize when they needed it.

EA will honor their seniors  Friday night in Fairfax in the last regular game of the season against the DeKalb Tigers.
