    Good luck to all of our local athletes as they compete in District track and field competitions in Worth County, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Grant City Saturday, May 10.

  • Tarkio High School Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony

    Tarkio High School graduation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11, in the high school gym. The graduates will create a receiving line on the east side of the building following the ceremony or in the hallway if it is raining.

  • Campus work days

    Tarkio Tech campus cleanup Tarkio Technology Institute is hosting a clean-up week May 12-16 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to work inside and outside the buildings.   • Mobile food pantry

    The next Second Harvest mobile food pantry in Atchison County will be Monday, May 12, at Rock Port High School, 600 S. Nebraska Street in Rock Port, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Vehicles should drive east on Calhoun Street along the north side of the school.   • Rock Port High School Baseball and Senior Parents’ Night

    The Rock Port High School Baseball Team will host Maysville at 5 p.m. at the city ball field Monday, May 12. Seniors who played spring sports and their parents will be honored before the start of the game in a special ceremony.

  • Bingo at the Senior Center

    Bingo at the Rock Port Senior Center, 505 Country Club Drive, is scheduled the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Games start at 10:00 a.m. so you will have to enjoy a game or two with friends before lunch. The next Bingo games will be May 13.

  • Fairfax R-3 Elementary, Jr. High, and High School Awards

    Fairfax R-3 Elementary, Jr. High, and High School students will be recognized for their achievements this year in an awards' assembly that begins at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, in the high school gym. This is also the last day of school and classes will dismiss early.

  • Last Day of School at Tarkio R-I

    Classes at Tarkio R-I will be dismissing at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, as this is the last day of school for summer break.

  • Rock Port R-II awards

    Students at Rock Port R-II will be presented with awards in an assembly at the school from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Thursday, May 15.

  • Rock Port Fine Arts’ Banquet

    A Rock Port R-II Fine Arts' Banquet will be held at the school from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 15.
