    Classes at Tarkio R-I will be dismissing at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, as this is the last day of school for summer break.

    Students at Rock Port R-II will be presented with awards in an assembly at the school from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Thursday, May 15.

  • Rock Port Fine Arts’ Banquet

    A Rock Port R-II Fine Arts' Banquet will be held at the school from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 15.

  • Tarkio summer meals

    Free summer meals for all kids and teens will begin when the school year ends. Meals are free to children under the age of 18 and adults coming with a child can eat free, thanks to Community Services.   • Ribbon cutting and open house at Boundless Grace

    The Tarkio Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting Friday, May 16, at Boundless Grace, 402 Main Street in Tarkio. The ribbon cutting will be at 4:00 p.m. along with an open house. Refreshments will be available. The owners of the new business are Cassie Shaw, Jami DeRosier, and Mandy Whipple.

  • EA Wolves to compete in District Baseball

    The East Atchison Wolves will take on the Northeast Nodaway team in District baseball action Friday, May 16, in Burlington Junction at 4 p.m.
