    Rock Port High School Spring Concert at 7 p.m. in the South Gym. There will be an ice cream social following the concert with sundaes and floats available for $5.

    The East Atchison and Rock Port Boys' Golf Teams will be competing in the Class 1, District 4 Golf Tournament in Chillicothe beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, May 9. Good luck to all of the local golfers!

    The Rock Port FFA Greenhouse Flower/Plant Sale will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 9, and from 8 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, May 10. The greenhouse is located on the school west lot.

    The Nodaway County household hazardous waste (HHW) collection site will be open Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.     Good luck to all of our local athletes as they compete in District track and field competitions in Worth County, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Grant City Saturday, May 10.

  • Tarkio High School Class of 2025 Commencement Ceremony

    Tarkio High School graduation will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 11, in the high school gym. The graduates will create a receiving line on the east side of the building following the ceremony or in the hallway if it is raining.

    Tarkio Tech campus cleanup Tarkio Technology Institute is hosting a clean-up week May 12-16 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to work inside and outside the buildings.
