Amy Houts to speak at Tarkio branch of Atchison County Library

The Atchison County Library invites the public to attend its next speaker series featuring author Amy Houts. Amy, an award-winning author of more than 100 picture books, cookbooks, articles, and poetry, will speak at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, at the Tarkio branch.

Amy was inspired to write for children when she was a graduate assistant in the early childhood education department at Northwest Missouri State University. Besides writing, she also creates board games. Stop by the library and listen to Amy speak, purchase a book, and have her sign your copy!
