Ways to Help: Flood Donation and Resource Page

Atchison County Community Services and Tarkio/Westboro Ministerial Alliance are sponsoring a drive for items for flood victims in Atchison and Holt county.

On Wednesday, March 20 Community services in Tarkio will be collecting the following items  at 322 Main Street in Tarkio
Good clean towels and sheets
Good clean clothing
Gift cards
Grocery items
Household items (no decor items)
Paper products
Monetary donations

Times for drop off are 9-3. If you cannot make it during this time please call Shyann Ray at 660-736-4646 to make arrangements. Furniture can be donated by calling Shyann to make for pick up arrangements. Thanks everyone.


Ella And Grey (Boutique in Rock Port, MO) Gives Portion of Sales to Flood Relief Organizations

20% of ALL purchases this week will be donated to flood relief. You get to decide where your donation goes. You will just tell me if purchasing in store. If ordering online, you will need to type in the comments your city, county, local Red Cross, etc. This way your donation goes where YOU are affected–MO, IA,NE,KS, wherever! I’m lucky enough to live where I’m not personally affected, but so many friends/family/neighbors even a couple miles away are going through this horrible event. Let’s help them out!

Our church is now open as an emergency shelter for those affected by the flooding. Anyone who needs to evacuate and does not have a place to stay is welcome here.

Please note that this rate is for flood victims only while rooms are available.

This is for any flood victims regardless of whether they are staying at the hotel or not.Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to all of those affected by this tragic event.
