Jase Hughes, a junior at RPHS claimed his spot for state golf. This is his second qualifying year in a row. He hit a 91 during sectionals at Mozingo in Maryville, Mo. Team member Noah Makings just missed the qualifying cut off of 98, he shot a 106. Jase and boys golf coach Shawn Shineman (above left) will travel to Nixa, Mo. for state playoffs at the Fremont Golf Course on May 16 and 17.
