The Annual Spring Flea Market held in Brownville over Memorial Day weekend resulted in a record number of vendors and attendees. Over 300 vendor spaces more than filled the streets, park, Railroad History Center grounds and lots behind the old gas station. Saturday’s attendance was a record breaker with an estimated crowd of 4,500-5,000. The weekend brought more than 9,000 people to Brownville.
This event is sponsored by the Brownville Historical Society and the monies received are being used towards the general operation of the Society.
B.H.S. volunteers provide the leadership for this annual event. They also provide a Fall Flea Market which will be held September 24, 25, 2016 in Brownville. The Society thanks their board members, general membership and friends, vendors and citizens for their efforts and cooperation.
