Burlington Junction Town & Country Days, “Community, A Timeless Tradition,” will be held June 17-19, 2016, in Burlington Junction, Missouri. Below is a list of some of the festivities taking place:
Friday, June 17
5 p.m. – Redneck Tractor Pull
5-7 p.m. – American Legion/Auxiliary Fish Fry, 11 & up $10 and 10 & under $5
6 p.m. – Little Mr. & Miss Contest (boys and girls, ages 3-5, WN School District, register by 5:30 p.m.)
8 p.m. – Street Dance DJ Loren Shimak
Pie Auction – Col. Michael Goff
Food Stand – Jr. Class After Prom
Saturday, June 18
7 a.m. – 5K registration (Pre-register by June 4 to receive a t-shirt, $22)
8 a.m. – 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk
8 a.m. – Craft Show (sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary), Informational Booths
8-10:30 a.m. – American Legion/Auxiliary pancake breakfast, $5
10 a.m. – Parade (Register at City Park with the Saddle Club, 9 a.m.)
Grand Marshall – Terry and Kay Nicholas
11 a.m. – 1st Annual Garden Tractor Pull at City Park; Human Foosball Tournament at City Hall sponsored by Burlington Jct. Christian Church; Birthday Party for the Dollar Dog at Citizens Bank & Trust; Horseshoes at City Park; Dessert Walk at Gazebo on Main Street, Tractor Show sponsored by United Methodist Women on Main Street; Food Stand sponsored by Jr. American Legion Auxiliary
2 p.m. – Bounce Houses sponsored by MFA ($5 for Arm Band), Games for all ages at City Hall
4 p.m. – Pedal Tractor Pull, sponsored by West Nodaway FFA
7-11 p.m. – Live Entertainment by Michael Goff and Broken Spoke

Sunday, June 19
8 a.m. – Breakfast Sponsored by Saddle Club
10 a.m. – Cowboy Church Sponsored by Saddle Club
