The Commission met on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Present were: North District Commissioner David P. Chapin; South District Commissioner Richard Burke; and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission. Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood was absent.
Citizen Steve Joesting was present to observe the commission.
South District Commissioner Richard Burke called the meeting to order.
Linda Trauernicht was present for South District Commissioner Richard Burke to sign forms for completion of a Boy Scout Project for her grandson.
Commissioner Chapin and Commissioner Burke went to Watson to assess the flooding due to the heavy rains in the area overnight.
There being no further business to come before the commission, the commission adjourned.

Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood called the meeting to order.
Assessor Lori Jones was present to visit with the Commission about a request for the Counties plat map data to be used to create a book for Farmers Home Publishing. The Counties data acquisition agreement does not allow data to be used for resale. The Plat Book created is sold. The Commission requested Clerk Taylor to check with legal counsel about regulations releasing the data and the sunshine law requirements before any decisions are made.
Road & Bridge Supervisor Adam Meyer was in to report that he has had a complaint on thistles on the hay ground adjacent to the Rest Home. A letter was prepared and sent to tenants advising them of the concerns.
Sheriff Dennis Martin was in to report on department matters.
Month end reports from all departments were reviewed and approved.
The Commission went to look at some road concerns related to the recent heavy rains.
Emergency Management Director Rhonda Wiley was in to see if the Commission had received any additional reports of water damage to roads or structures that she needed to report.
