Marion Luwella (Williams) Holbrook was born on July 19, 1915, and passed away on June 21, 2016. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Davis Holbrook on March 23, 1992; and son, Robert Davis Holbrook, on April 23, 2011. Marion is survived by grandchildren, Pam (Mike) Watkins of Choteau, MT, Robyn (Dan) Christofferson of Valdez, AK, Randy (Erika) Holbrook of Valdez, AK, Stacey (Jeffrey) Henry of Gresham, OR, Shannon (Dean) Ratliff of Stockton, MO, DeDee Ellis and Patrick Updike of Red Oak, IA, and Bobbi (Scott) Poppa of Tarkio; 17 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Marion and her husband owned and operated the Lion’s Lair Tavern in Seattle, Washington, for several years. Following that she managed several apartment complexes in the Seattle area, retiring in 1999 at age 84. When her son was younger, she enjoyed watching him play a variety of sports as he was her pride and joy. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with family. In November 2008, she moved to Tarkio with her son, Robert, to spend time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be in Seattle at a later date. Burial will be held at Riverton Crest Cemetery, Seattle. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert Davis Holbrook Athletic Memorial Fund at 909 North 5th Street, Tarkio, MO 64491.
