During the worship services at the United Methodist churches in Rock Port and Watson, there will be a time for Blessing of the Backpacks and Prayers for School Personnel. Children are encouraged to bring their school backpacks to church during the Children’s Sermon time. Faculty, Administration, and Support Staff of our Public Schools will have a special prayer lifted for them for the coming school year.
Watson UMC worship begins at 9 a.m. at the corner of Second and East Streets in Watson. Rock Port UMC has worship at 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary located at the corner of Opp and Nebraska Streets. Both buildings are accessible.
