The Watson Quilters met Thursday afternoon for their all day quilting. Those who came were Donna Whelan, Francis Nahkunst, Teresa & Jim Hickok, Anita Armstrong, Holly Holmes, Linda Viets, and Kay Gibson. Mostly everyone worked on their own thing. I got the opinion on a border for the current quilt. Everyone seemed to like it, so to go on with that will work.
Kay & Tom Gibson attended Ryker Gibson’s 2nd birthday party Sunday afternoon. It was a cool afternoon with lots of kids having lots of fun. They had pony rides, buggy rides, a bounce house, a slippery slide, something for everyone.
RAIN
Did anyone else notice that it rained frogs last week? Yep. Sure did. One morning, I had one inch and seventy hundreds of rain and one frog in my rain gauge. This leads me to wonder how much was actually rain? The frog measured approximately one inch by one inch, which makes him an area of one inch. Does this mean I got close to no rain at all? Nah. That can’t be right. The way I figure it, that frog took up two tenths of an inch, leaving me with an inch and a half rain. I have no proof of any of this because when I dumped the rain gauge, the frog hopped away.
