In 2006 Scott and Shauna Melvin started Double M Towing and operated it for 10 years. At the end of July 2016, Scott and Shauna sold their towing business to Jody and Breanna Vansickle. Jody operated a tow truck around the Odessa, Missouri area for six years prior to moving to Rock Port with wife Breanna (Parkhurst) who is a manager for Wal-Mart. Jody, who currently is working at Ariens in Auburn, has plans to be a full service towing business, lock-out, tire changes and jump starts. Currently they have two trucks, a rollback and a medium wrecker.
