Roberta Gaye (Jackson) Bean, the daughter of John Marshall and Gertrude Adeline (Falconer) Jackson, was born June 18, 1957, in Craig, Missouri. She attended Craig High School, graduating in 1975.
Roberta worked as a receptionist for a carpet company and was currently working as a cashier at McDonald’s in Rock Port, Missouri. She was always outgoing and joyful, a “people person” who enjoyed life to the fullest.
Roberta was a member of the First Christian Church, Rock Port. On May 1, 2011, she received Jesus as her LORD and Savior and was baptized by Rev. Rodney Hopper. Roberta passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 59.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the First Christian Church, Rock Port, Missouri. The service was conducted by Rev. Rodney Hopper. A private family inurnment will be held in Tharp Cemetery, Craig, Missouri.
Besides her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by two great-nieces, Kyleigh Parrish and Sarah Agnew and great-nephew, Allen Scott Agnew. Survivors include siblings, J.M. (Merry) Jackson, Mound City, Missouri, Dean (Ann) Jackson, Durango, Colorado, Doris Bowers, Fort Lee, New Jersey, Bob (Berdie) Jackson, Rock Port, Richard (Pat) Jackson, Craig, Missouri, Ellen Kiehl, Rock Port, Kay (Bernie) Lemay, St. Joseph, Missouri, Rodger (Lu) Jackson, Craig, Debbie (Dennis) Rose, Goodman, Missouri; numerous relatives; many, many friends; sister friend, Lavon Paukert; four-legged friend, Baxter.
