Garrett Dakota Parsons, the son of Lonnie Gene Parsons and Sandra Jeanette (Stevens) Lansdown, was born May 15, 1990, in Fairfax, Missouri.  He attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri.  He later earned his GED.
Garrett worked for Stanley Harmon Construction in Rock Port, Subway in Shenandoah, Iowa, and McDonald’s in Rock Port.  Garrett passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016, in Rock Port at the age of 26.  The body has been cremated. A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2016, at First Christian Church, Rock Port. A private family inurnment is scheduled for a later date.
Garrett was preceded in death by grandfather, Gene Parsons, and aunt, Genie Perry and uncle, Jody Parsons.  Survivors include father, Lonnie Parsons, Watson, Missouri; mother, Sandy (Jim) Lansdown, Rock Port; three children, Mason Rentschler, Fairfax, Abel Gardner, Shenandoah, and Reyneigh Parsons, Tarkio, Missouri; siblings, Christin, Chelsea and Kiley; grandparents, Darlene Lambert, Craig, Missouri, and Walter and Shirley Stevens, Watson; uncles, Corey (Jamiee) Stevens, Donnie (April) Parsons, and Travis (Niki) Lambert; aunt, Jennifer Junior; and numerous cousins.
