The Rock Port Cross Country teams started the season in Maryville on August 30. The course was plenty wet and muddy, testing the runners the whole way.
The teams will compete next in Clarinda, Iowa and on September 13 will be running in the Tarkio Invitational. Following are the individual Atchison County results and the first place winners.
