The Atchison Holt Unit of MRTA (Missouri Retired Teachers and School Personnel Association) met in Oregon at the 275 Grill on Thursday, September 1. Food pantry items were brought for the Holt County Food Pantry. Rana Killingsworth will represent the Atchison Holt Unit at the state meeting in September.
Phyllis Dannar, Sue Heits and Dixie Stoner volunteered to serve as the nominating committee. The Region 1 MRTA meeting will be held on October 17 at the Benton Club in St. Joseph.
The program for the meeting was Gayle Stowers, director of development for Second Harvest. The next meeting will be November 3 at Rock Port UMC.
