It was a clean sweep for the East Atchison Lady Wolves’ volleyball teams as they hosted West Nodaway at Fairfax Thursday, September 15.
The junior high team started the night with a win, scoring 25-4 and 25-10 over the visitors. The JV Lady Wolves won their match 25-4. Statistics for the Lady Wolves are: Bella Hurst – 10 aces, 1 kill; Jesse Graves – 3 aces, 1 kill; McKenzie Hines – 1 kill; Tacy Mitchell – 2 assists. The JV team’s record is 3-3 overall.
The varsity Lady Wolves added another conference win to their record, winning the match in two sets, 25-19 and 25-12. Statistics for the Lady Wolves are: Alyssa Garrison – 2 aces, 1 assist, 5 kills, 6 digs; Grace Martin – 1 ace, 5 digs; Jaycee Graves – 4 kills, 1 block, 1 dig; Kilea Cooper – 4 aces, 4 kills; Leslie Bradley – 5 aces, 2 digs; Madison Ohrt – 14 assists, 1 kill, 5 digs; Shelbey Morris – 3 digs; Shelby McCartney – 1 ace, 3 kills, 1 block, 5 digs.
