THE TARKIO HIGH SCHOOL FFA CHAPTER – Was presented its $25,000 America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education Grant from Monsanto during a check presentation ceremony on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. This spring, local farmers nominated the Tarkio FFA for this grant. The money will be used to construct a livestock learning lab on school property near the bus barn. The lab will allow students to take a hands-on approach to studying animal digestion, reproduction, and daily gain.
