Get your PINK ON and come support Atchison County Kickin’ Cancer in the group’s annual Pink Out fundraiser. Atchison County Kickin’ Cancer (formerly Atchison County Relay for Life and Schoolhouse Rock teams) is a non-profit organization built to raise funds to help those locally who are or have been diagnosed with cancer. All money raised stays in Atchison County to help with medical bills, transportation, etc. that is needed by cancer patients.
The Pink Out events (which also happen to be senior nights this year) will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Tarkio High School during the East Atchison volleyball match against Mound City AND Friday, October 14, 2016, at Kyle Field at M. David Palmeiro Stadium during the East Atchison Wolves’ football game against South Nodaway. Thursday night there will be a bake sale before and during the volleyball match. There will be an auction after the game to auction off a volleyball that the players and coaches have all signed. Friday night, there will be a football auctioned off that all of the East Atchison Wolves’ players and coaches have signed, as well as a silent auction. Any bake sale or silent auction donations are greatly appreciated!
Come out to support Atchison County Kickin’ Cancer in support of those in our area battling this terrible disease. Atchison County let’s kick some cancer!
