Justice E. Tufte, Tarkio, Missouri, celebrated his 100th birthday October 3, 2016, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, Missouri. He was born October 3, 1916. A World War II veteran, he retired from the California Department of Corrections in 1980. Mr. Tufte has two sons, Robert and John, a daughter, Debra, and a sister, Eileen, who all reside in California. Also helping celebrate are three good friends, Anita Davidson, and Terry and Ruth Eaton, all of Tarkio.
