The Brownville two-day celebration known as Old Time Autumn takes place October
8, 9 this year. This activity-filled weekend event has become a favorite for families as well as serious history buffs.
After 150 years, the Civil War still inflames imaginations. What was like then, at home
or the battlefield?
You can find out at the annual encampments hosted by the Fremont Pathfinders and their friends who will join them in Brownville, Nebraska. The battle at Perryville, Kentucky will be held each day on one of the hillsides of Brownville as well as along Whiskey Creek
Trail. The 150 Re-enactors stay in character, even when off the battlefield. This event
provides spectators an incredible opportunity to see history in all its sound and fury. View the thundering cavalry, the blasts and smoke of cannons and guns in battle.
