Rock Port PINK OUT Volleyball October 6- The Rock Port Lady Jays will host South Holt on October 6, 2016. This game will be a PINK OUT in recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. So breakout your pink and support the fight of a cure.

C.A.R.E. Candlelight Vigil, October 5- C.A.R.E. of Atchison County, Inc. is holding a Candlelight Vigil in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Everyone is invited to attend the vigil from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, on the front steps of the Atchison County Courthouse in Rock Port, Missouri.

The Liberty Theatre presents “White Christmas”- The Liberty Theatre in Rock Port, Missouri, will be presenting “White Christmas” December 16-18, 2016. The musical will take place Friday, December 16, at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 17, at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 18, at 2:30 p.m. Liberty Theatre is located inside the Atchison County Memorial Building on Main Street in Rock Port.
White Christmas is a musical based on the Paramount Pictures 1954 film of the same name starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosmary Clooney and Vera- Ellen. The libretto is by David Ives and Paul Blake, with music and lyrics by Irving Berlin.
White Christmas will be directed by Devon Sons.

Tarkio Rotary fundraiser- The Tarkio Rotary Club is holding a barbecue fundraiser through October to earn money for club projects, including a project to purchase shades for the Tarkio Municipal Pool.
The Tarkio Rotarians are hosting barbecues every Saturday through October 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hy-Vee in Tarkio. Stop by the store and pick up a scrumptious lunch!
