On October 8, 2016, the Community Hospital-Fairfax (CH-F) Rehab Services team hosted its first ever Scavenger Hunt. The event was held to provide an interactive and fun activity to get the community out and moving! Six teams competed in this year’s event.
The teams met at CH-F where they were given instructions for the race. Each team completed a 1.5-mile course with stations where various challenges had to be completed. Completing the course first was Denise McEnaney and Keaton Ebersold with Team DK.
CH-F Rehab Services believes in serving the community. In addition to the Scavenger Hunt, they can be spotted on the sidelines of local sporting events and in the local schools. The therapists also look for opportunities to educate the community and will be offering a Lunch and Learn on November 4, 2016, at noon at the hospital on therapy treatment for Parkinson’s Disease.
