The September 15th meeting of the Community Hospital Auxiliary opened with 20 members present, reciting the Opening Prayer.
A very informative program on Strokes was given by Janice Walker.
President Sarah gave a report on committees and new membership lists were passed out.
Amy Sefrit was the lucky winner of the Auxiliary quilt given away at the Fairfax Fair.
Today will be the beginning of our new crafts program being held after the regular meeting. Volunteers from our organization will make tray favors to brighten the lunch trays of hospital patients.
We have volunteers scheduled to set up and work different shifts at our booth at the Winefest in Mound City on September 24th.
We are working on a date for our annual Chili Soup Supper to be held at the Fairfax School. The exact date and specific information will be given in a future article.
The hospital is very appreciative of our group’s support and involvement. We welcome anyone that would like to be a part of our wonderful organization. The next regular meeting followed by the craft meeting will be October 20, 2016 at 1:30 in the Hospital Conference Room.
