The Tarkio Board of Public Works, Missouri Rural Water Association, and Tarkio Police Department are joining forces to collect unused or unwanted prescription medications in a Prescription Drug Take Back event. Drop off your unwanted prescriptions at Tarkio City Hall, 602 Main Street, on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The prescriptions collected at the event will be disposed of properly.
Proper disposal of these medications will prevent possible misuse. Proper disposal will also keep them from harming the environment in which we live.
