Where were you 50 years ago this November? Did you attend the first turkey dinner held at the Legion? Many things have changed over the past 50 years, but one thing that has not is the delicious meal prepared and served by the members of the Legion and Auxiliary. The meal includes turkey, homemade dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls, butter, a large variety of salads and desserts.
The turkey dinner is one of the main fundraisers for the two organizations and this continued support has made it possible for the organizations to complete many projects. The Legion and Auxiliary members are interested in knowing who might have attended the first dinner or how long you have been attending, so please share your comments when you go through the line this year. Stop by and enjoy a delicious meal!
