Amid the tragedy that befell the family of Randy and Lora Lea (Gubser) Owen of rural Hamburg, Iowa, Josh Sierks, a family friend, organized a gathering of gracious folks to finish harvesting for the family. On Friday, October 28 the true meaning of living in a small community was evident, as 60 farmers from two states, Iowa and Missouri, a total of 15 combines and 12 ladies served lunch, with many more caring souls sending food to feed the crew, turned out for the harvest. Thank you to the following people and anyone that made even the smallest contribution to this day.
