Fairfax is known as a community with a big heart and lots of pride. People of all ages work together for the benefit of all. This is shown by the great support of our school, churches, hospital, and community organizations. To continue this good life residents have known and to push forward to assure that future generations can enjoy the same, the Fairfax Improvement Foundation has been formed as a 501(c)3 organization under the umbrella of the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri.
A meeting will be held Friday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m. at the Fairfax R-3 School cafeteria for the entire community – town and country. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the organization and its goals and collect suggestions for community projects. A suggestion box will be available for you to share your ideas of what projects you would like to see completed and what improvements you would like to see made. Several area dignitaries will be there to listen, suggest resources and give support however they can. Light refreshments will be served.
Everyone with an interest in the future of Fairfax is encouraged to attend. This is our community, so let’s work together to keep it great!
It’s a community affair!
