Tarkio High School Musical Theatre students will proudly present “Little Shop Of Horrors” this weekend. “A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop of Horrors is a horror comedy rock musical by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman, based on the low budget 1960 black comedy film of the same name directed by Roger Corman. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names Audrey II after his co-worker crush. This R&B singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it (get ready)…BLOOD! Over time, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out of this world origins and intent towards global domination. One of the longest running Off-Broadway shows ever, Little Shop of Horrors is the charmingly tongue in cheek comedy that has become one of the most popular shows in the world.” “Feed me Seymour!!!”
The performers will take the stage in the Tarkio High School Auditorium Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 20, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $10.00 in the Tarkio High School Superintendent’s office and can also be purchased at the door the days of the show. Tickets for students are $5 each.
