Jays end season 6-0 over Hamburg. The Rock Port Blue Jays had their final win of the season over the Wildcats at Hamburg, Friday night in 23 degree temperature. Coach Gabe Shineman’s charges finished up the season with a 8-1 record.

November 25, 1976
Sherriff-elect Jack Millsap has been appointed special investigator to the prosecutor’s office for the month of December, according to the county court records at the Atchison County courthouse in Rock Port.
Millsap will be available to the prosecutor’s office for such special investigations as he may be called upon to perform. He can use as much of this time as is necessary in attending schools for instruction in law enforcement and other duties as sheriff.

November 27 , 1986
Five 4-H members will attend the Kansas City 4-H Conference, November 20-22. They are: Melissa Erdman, LaDonna Johnson and David Smith, Tarkio; Bryan Martin, Skidmore, and Nic King, Westoboro.

November 28, 1996
On Sunday, November 17, the Rock Port returning letterwinning Senior wrestlers went to a professional football game. They attended the Kansas City Chiefs vs the Chicago Bears football game at arrowhead. Mr. Cretsinger organized the trio. It was a trip to develop leadership among the seniors. It was a lot of fun. The four seniors who went to the game were Chris Roup, Troy Clodfelter, Zach Viets and Wade Smith. After the game, the boys went to a party put on by the Kansas City Cheifs Cheerleaders. The boys met K.C. Wolfe, Tracy Simien and Niel Smith.

Customers of Browns’ Agri Service will now find a new home at AgChoice. The new company, which officially went into business on November 7, 2006 is being run by Manager Jason Brown.
