Hailee Lingerfelt, 13 a seventh grader at Tarkio Jr. High, will be undergoing a craniotomy on December 15 to remove multiple nodules from her temporal lobe. Her neurosurgeon will be able to remove approximately 80-90 percent of the cancerous tumor; however, 10-20 percent is in the pons of her brain and therefore not able to be surgically removed.
