The East Atchison high school basketball teams hosted Northeast Nodaway in conference action on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in the Tarkio High School Gym. Both EA teams won their contests.
The Lady Wolves took down the Lady Blue Jays with a score of 65-24. Jaycee Graves led EA with 18 points (two free throws), followed by Kilea Cooper with nine (one free throw and two three-pointers), Tawni Martin and Shelby McCartney with eight points each, Kinley Thornhill with six, Kaely Kirwan, Chloe Bruns, and Goldie Barnes with four each, and Lily Graves and Alyssa Garrison with two each.
The Wolves defeated the Blue Jays 59-40. Jake McEnaney led EA with 18 points (two three-pointers), followed by Garrett Meyer with 15, Gage McAdams with 10, Brody Cooper with seven (one three-pointer), Colin Joesting with six, Mason Straub with two, and Tyler Brown with one.
