Rock Port sends one to State Golf- Jase Hughes, a junior at RPHS claimed his spot for state golf. This is his second qualifying year in a row. He hit a 91 during sectionals at Mozingo in Maryville, Mo. Jase and boys golf coach Shawn Shineman (above left) will travel to Nixa, Mo. for state playoffs at the Fremont Golf Course on May 16 and 17.

Ellison receives Rotary “Service Above Self” Award- The Rock Port Rotary Club was pleased to present its “Service Above Self “award for 2015-2016 to Carmen Ellison. This award recognizes a non-rotarian community member who exemplifies Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self by giving their time and resources beyond the call of duty to serve others and the community. This is the highest honor the Rock Port Rotary Club bestows on a non-rotarian.

Class of 2016 Top Two- The 2016 Salutatorian was Chloe Sierks and the #1 spot with the highest cumulative GPA was Valedictorian Ty Jones.

RPHS Outstanding Educator of the Year- Ms. Trudy Heitman was totally surprised as she was announced the RPHS Eduator of the Year 2015-16.
