The Commission met on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, this being the 1st day of the regular January term. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood; North District Commissioner Jim Quimby; South District Commissioner Richard Burke; and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.
Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills were reviewed, approved and ordered paid.
Mr. Jody Vansickle with Double M Towing was in to inquire about a section of the lot at the old county highway barn south of Rock Port. The commission asked if he was interested in leasing or purchasing. He stated purchasing. The commission took no action, but said they would keep him posted if they did decide to sell a section of the lot, but it would have to be opened to public bid if it was.
The commissioners then gave newly elected Commissioner Mr. Jim Quimby a tour of the county barns.
There being no further business to come before the commission, the commission adjourned.
