This year, the corn growers will bring to St. Joseph, four nationally known marketers to discuss the market and outlook. The Missouri Corn Growers Association and Northwest Corn Growers organized the meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 19, with registration at 8:30 a.m. at the Fulkerson Center at Missouri Western State University. The formal meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at 3:00 p.m. All farmers and those from adjoining states are welcomed to attend. Lunch is provided by local and regional agribusinesses.
The four marketers are Joe Vaclavik, Standard Grain; Allen Brugler, Brugler Marketing; Dan Basse, AgResource Consulting and Andy Shissler, SW Trading LLC. Also, Dr. Kevin Bradley, MU State Weed Scientist will discuss herbicide technology. Bryce Anderson, DTN will provide a weather outlook for 2017.
