The winners of the 75th annual Fairfax Invitational Basketball Tournament were the Tarkio girls and Rock Port boys. The first Fairfax Invitational Basketball Tournament played in the new gym was held in 1957.

Larry Goodloe is the new Community Hospital, Fairfax, administrator.
The Fairfax Volunteer Fire Department’s new building addition fund has reached $15,855.35.
The Fairfax girls defeated Rock Port 37-18 and the Fairfax boys lost to Rock Port 40-47.

January 19, 1967
Vandals did damage to the Golden Arrow Bowhunters’ archery range over the winter. Many targets were torn up and pulled from the ground and the toilet building was completely gone.
The Light and Power Company installed new 10,000-lumen mercury vapor street lamps on Main Street of Fairfax.
People assembled in a futile attempt to hold an annual meeting of the stockholders of the Fairfax Community Hospital. The audience numbered 19 and shares, plus proxies, totaling 366. The by-laws require 50% of the total of 1,557 1/2 shares be represented to constitute a legal meeting for the purpose of doing business.
