The TEC Club, the Tuesday evening club that meets Tuesday afternoons, met January 24, 2017, at Aunt Martha’s B&B. It was another cold, dreary day, but immediately turned cheery when you walked in the door. Deposit your money, draw a card, and the games begin.
Pam Cooper was the winner of top score with Sharon Smith second high. Martha Shaffer had low. Norma Bradfield was hostess and served a delightful Peter Pan salad. That set the tone for the rest of the chit-chit hour because the conversation moved into scary adventures that Peter Pan would have enjoyed. Deep caves, swaying bridges, glass bottom boats, tall towers, long tunnels, rough water cruises, naming just a few: all were travel experiences that everyone agreed were pretty scary. Each narrative had to top the previous one. I had no idea our members were so adventuresome. When I got home, I was even hesitant to close my eyes while sitting in my recliner. They can tip over you know!
