The Eagles, Northwest Homeschool Group’s archery team, competed in a National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) tournament this past weekend. The competition was hosted by the Nodaho Bowhunters Club in Maitland. Nine of the group’s 16 participants received medals that were awarded to the top three archers in each division. Coach Jade Wright commented, “I am very proud of the dedication our kids have shown throughout the season. They are continuing to improve as they shot their best team score to date, two archers shot state-qualifying scores, and four their personal best for the season.” The Eagles team has competed in two other tournaments this season and have one more state-qualifying tournament on the 25th of February in Kansas City. State competition will be held March 24th and 25th at the Branson Convention Center. The Nodaho tournament results and individual archer scores (out of possible 300) are as follows:
