This Sunday, February 19, the WEE (Women’s Evening Edition) of the Fairfax United Methodist Women will hold their annual dinner and auction. The dinner is a freewill donation and the menu will be ham, cheesy potatoes, homemade rolls, salad, yummy dessert and a drink. The dinner will begin at 11:30 a.m. and run until 1p.m. at Fairfax UMC.
In addition to the dinner the ladies are putting together themed baskets to be auctioned off. There are over 10 baskets that will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Two of the baskets are filled with Bearcat memorabilia including an autographed basketball from the #1 ranked men’s basketball team and four tickets to the February 25th basketball game against Lincoln. The other basket has an autographed football by the #1 Bearcat football team for 2016 NCAA D-II champs! The basket auction will begin promptly at 12:30.
Even if you can’t join us for dinner, please join us in the fun filled afternoon for the auction! The money collected will be used for the United Methodist Women’s projects thoughout the 2017 year.
