“The Snow White Variety Show” will be performed by Tarkio Jr. High students this Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in the Tarkio High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. Come enjoy this comedy, which features, from left to right: front row – Sophia Martin, Alli Yates, and Ella Rolf; middle row – Autumn Murry, Audrey Weidenaar, Bryli Staten, Cheyenne Gray, Bo Graves, Braiden Wennihan, Kaylin Merriweather, and Dylan Campbell; and back row – Brianna Smith, Riley Lekey, Jaden Goodin, Morgan Shaw, Hunter Bennett, Katie Hall, Seth Morey, and Aaron Schlueter.

The Tarkio Jr. High will present “The Snow White Variety Show” Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the THS Auditorium. It will be a free will donation, no ticket sales. The play, by Brian D. Taylor, will showcase the following students: Bryli Staten – Heidi Perbole; Ella Rolf – Snow White; Alli Yates – the Real Snow White; Cheyenne Gray – Evil Queen; Braiden Wennihan – Huntsman; The 7 Dwarves – Sophia Martin (Wordy), Aaron Schlueter (Nerdy), Hunter Bennett (Rowdy), Katie Hall (Howdy), Autumn Murry (Weepy), Audrey Weidenaar (Creepy), and Seth Morey (Bob); and The 7 Fairytale Players – Riley Lekey, Jaden Goodin, Kaylin Merriweather, Brianna Smith, Bo Graves, Dylan Campbell, and Morgan Shaw. The play is directed by Casey Martin, Lesley Graves, and Blu Dow.
All the fun of just about every TV-show genre you can imagine is jam-packed into this wild and fast-paced comedy! The audience becomes the live studio audience on a talk show, Real Talk with Fairytale Legends, where the seven dwarves tell the story of Snow White as the Fairytale Players bring it to life. As each new dwarf takes a turn telling part of Snow White’s famous story in his or her own unique voice, the players’ re-enactment shifts to match the style and personality of that particular dwarf. At any given moment, the story can be anything – romance, comedy, home improvement show, suspense, Western, epic poetry, mystery, cooking show, stand-up routine, or blockbuster action movie! There’s even a “Miss Fairest of Them All” beauty pageant! It all culminates in a mad-dash ending of fast-changing genres that sets the record straight on Snow White’s happily-ever-after. This variety show spoof of the fairytale classic literally has something for everyone!
