Advice to Underclassmen: Whatever you do, always give 100%. Unless you’re giving blood.
Plans after high school: I plan on attending the University of Arkansas and studying to be an engineer.

Student Teacher Spotlight: Ms. Rachel Lee-

Rachel Lee has traveled a long way from her home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Ms. Lee is currently attending Peru State College in Nebraska.
When asked why she wanted to become an art teacher, Ms. Lee said, “I want to inspire students and I want them to have a love for art. I want to get them excited about learning because art is a part of the day where they think differently because they are so used reading, writing, and spelling where when they go into art, they relax and get ready for the next class.”
A few things Ms. Lee likes about teaching at Rock Port are how supportive the community is when it comes to giving hints, feedback, and ideas for help.
The best thing about having Mrs. Eickhoff as a cooperating teacher is that “she is always helping me become better. She gives me support; she tells me ways to reflect and become better as a teacher.”
Rachel’s hobbies outside of school are painting and drawing. She likes creating, but also loves reading.
Lastly, when asked where she wanted to work after college, Ms. Lee said “I want to work at a school around Nebraska, but anywhere really that will take me.”
