For the first time in many years, the United Methodist Churches of Atchison will be holding joint worship services followed by supper at 5 p.m. during five consecutive Sundays in Lent. Pastors Bruce Jeffries and Andrew and Julie Sanders will be sharing in leadership for these special times. The schedule is as follows:
March 5 – Rock Port UMC – Andrew Sanders preaching
March 12 – Fairfax UMC – Julie Sanders preaching
March 19 – Westboro UMC – Bruce Jeffries preaching
March 26 – Watson UMC – Julie Sanders preaching [worship at the church, supper at the Watson Community Building.]
April 2 – Tarkio UMC – Andrew Sanders preaching
Even though these events are sponsored by the United Methodist Churches, everyone is welcome.
