Titan Technology, a Lincoln based IT consulting company and subsidiary of Derek’s IT Consulting LLC, has recently been acquired by Midwest Data Center, a managed IT services provider headquartered in Rock Port, MO.
Since 2010, Titan Technology has provided server and network monitoring; IT related preventative maintenance and repair for small to medium sized businesses in the Lincoln and Omaha metro areas. Former owners Michael Wegher and Derek Adkins have decided to pursue different career paths. Wegher and Adkins will be working with Midwest Data Center through 2017 to ensure a smooth transition.
New owner Midwest Data Center has been providing managed IT solutions to small and medium sized businesses regionally and nationally since its inception in April of 2003. Midwest Data Center began discussing the acquisition of Titan Technologies in late 2016. “We were looking for an opportunity to expand our service offerings into the Lincoln and Omaha areas, and after several positive discussions with Mr. Wegher and Mr. Adkins, we felt this to be a great fit.
