Whoa doggie! Are you looking for a wild night of fun? We have just the place for you to go! On March 24 from 6-8 p.m. at the Velma Houts Building in Rock Port, 201 E US Hwy. 136, we are having a Wild West Family Carnival! The Farmer City Club, Lucky Clover Club, Wolverines, and Atchison County Robotics Club fill the building with lots of different games that only need one ticket to play! Tickets are only $.25 apiece and you can purchase them as you need them. If you have a child in school look for them to come home with a flyer that has two tickets attached to it that they can have for FREE! When you’re there don’t forget to stop by the watering hole and pick up some grub or something to wet your whistle for a small concession stand price. The Atchison County Robotics Club will help you with all your finger lickin’ good food! If you want you can also participate in the King and Queen contest by dropping in a donation or a ticket for the 4-H royalty you would like to see crowned for the year! The 4-H royalty will get to participate in the Atchison County Fair and Parade.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the University of Missouri Extension in Atchison County at 660-744-6231 for any questions or accommodations needed. Sam O’Riley, the Youth Program Associate, would love to answer any questions you may have about 4-H as well. She can be emailed directly at orileys@missouri.edu. So come out and support our local Atchison County 4-H Council for a night of lots of fun!
