Chris Gebhards (The Tin Man), Kim Brake (The Cowardly Lion), Jessica Johnson (Dorothy) and Becky Alitz (The Scarecrow) shared an informational skit for CH-F as the characters of the The Wizard of Oz. They also were part of the 150+ volunteers who help make the Celebrity Waiter Dinner possible.
Community Hospital-Fairfax hosted their annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner “Music of the Night” on March 25, 2017. Doors opened at 5 p.m., dinner was served at 6 p.m. with the show following. A delicious pork chop or chicken dinner was served by a cast of your all time favorite Broadway characters. Musical performances by local talent brought down the curtain.
This year’s Celebrity Waiter Dinner was sponsored by the Community Healthcare Foundation of Community Hospital – Fairfax. Proceeds made during the event were going toward technological advancements in lifesaving medicine so that Community Hospital-Fairfax can better serve you, our community!
The Overture opened with The Fairfax High School Choir singing “The Star Spangled Banner.” Bruce Jeffries, United Methodist Church of Rock Port, offered the invocation. Kris Umbarger, Community Healthcare Foundation, welcomed those attending, and Roger Steinkruger, Community Hospital-Fairfax CEO, also spoke.
Emcee for the Music of the Night was Debbie Martin as Dolly Levi.
