Fairfax R-3 School District will have a new Superintendent beginning July 1, 2017.
Dr. Jeremy Burright has 19 years of experience in public education. He began his career in Orrick, Mo., after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education at Missouri Western State University and moved to the St. Joseph School District in 2002. While in the St. Joseph School District he served as both a teacher and administrator, completing his Masters in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University and his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Baker University. Dr. Burright has continuously worked to create a clear vision for learning through instructional leadership, serving on district curricular teams, and reinvigorating at-risk programs.  He has served as a building administrator at all levels and has been a principal of both a Preschool through 6th grade, Title I, elementary school, and a Kindergarten through 12th grade alternative/behavioral school. Dr. Burright brings a depth of knowledge in core content instruction, 21st century learning, and special education to the office of the superintendent. He is an Eagle Scout, Missouri Western State University Outstanding Beginning Educator, and Missouri Western University Distinguished Alumni. He is honored to be selected as the Fairfax R-3 Superintendent.
